Vintage leather embossed amber bottle decanter with Don Quixote and Sancho. Beautiful textured embossed faces with elaborate 19 century style decor. Don Quixote was written by Cervantes whos, frequent “mathematic irregularities” landed Cervantes in the Crown Jail of Seville twice between 1597 and 1602. It was during this time in the slammer that Cervantes is believed to have first thought up the story that would become Don Quixote. This is a beautifully shaped bottle with a long slim spout and cork closure. Pooring the fluid in a thin sprinkle. Primitive art decoration with few rough edges. The bottle measure around 11" tall including the topper.
