Preparation, planning and construction for the Fair, under the imperious direction of Robert Moses in 1961. The actual Fair was in 1964-5. This is a reason that the tray is marked 1961. Made in Japan. I thin it is aluminum mold or some other metal. Original box with actual wrapping paper for the tray. One shaker has no stopper. The other one has a plastic stopper with sticker, Made in Japan. Original box present with some box wear. This is a great and rare collectible item.
The tray measure 4-3/4" by 2". The Unisphere salt and pepper shaker measure (each) 1-3/4" and 1-1/4".
