This is an amazing chess set with Onyx carved chess game pieces. White and black (colored black) chess pieces in the shape of Inca or Aztec Gods.
Large, handcrafted board and chess pieces that seem to had play a number of games and were enjoyed by the previous owner. There are some chippings from the normal use, but all are structurally intact. Rook piece (white) have a small, reattached crown-end piece. One black pawn has small front piece missing. The board has been cleaned and shows some lines in places but looks good as well.
The board measure around 17-1/2" by 17-1/2". It is 1-3/4" tall - all measure when unfolded, and flat.
The chess pieces measure around:
King 4" tall, with a base of 1-5/8" by1-1/8"
Queen 4-5/8" tall
Rook 3-1/4"
Bishop 3-3/8"
Knight 3-1/8"
Pawn 2-1/2"
Very nice handcrafted set for indoor and outdoor enjoyment.
