Handcrafted in the early 1990s, this authentic ginger jar originates from the Olaria Jose Cartaxo workshop in São Pedro do Corval, the historic pottery capital of Portugal. Made from traditional Alentejo red clay, the jar features a vibrant hand-painted floral motif in classic Mediterranean glazes. The piece stands approximately 8.5 inches tall including the lid. While the structure is fully intact with no chips or cracks, the glaze displays characteristic vintage crazing and minor surface wear consistent with its 30-year age. Pre-owned in vintage condition.
