Wall Art Lou Zansky On The Slopes 1975 Donald Art Company 12 Tile Porcelain Mosaic Framed

Acquire a rare, official 1970s sports art artifact from the Donald Art Company (DAC) Collection featuring Lou Zansky's 1975 alpine work, On the Slopes. Lou Zansky created iconic artwork commissioned directly by DAC, with this authorized installation produced as an official, publisher-approved release of his work. The piece consists of twelve 6 x 6 porcelain tiles set in a 3x4 grid, featuring Zansky's iconic alpine imagery applied across the tiles and protected under a textured celluloid finish. The tile grid is set against a natural jute fabric background with a rustic burlap texture that has developed a beautiful yellowish vintage patina naturally through the decades. Measuring approximately 31-1/8 inches by 26 inches, this substantial work is housed in its original heavy wooden frame. Unlike standard paper prints, these limited gallery-edition mosaics were premium commercial commissions. This is a seasoned, pre-owned vintage piece with nearly 50 years of history. The artwork image itself remains completely intact, though the protective top celluloid layer shows minor edge lifting and light peeling in a couple of areas typical for this vintage laminate process. Sold pre-owned as-is. Due to the heavy weight and large size of the item, it is offered for local pickup only.
