Description

Antique footed teacup and saucer crafted by Schaller, Turpin & Co. in Schwarzenbach, Bavaria, featuring a striking combination of vibrant turquoise panels and brilliant white porcelain. The piece is richly detailed with intricate gold gilding throughout and showcases hand-painted Fragonard-style courting couple medallions. The raised footed base rests upon three ornate claw feet with an elaborate scroll handle. The cup stands 3-3/8 inches tall and the accompanying saucer measures 4-1/2 inches across.
