Antique 1880 Booths Hawthorn English Porcelain 3 Piece Dinnerware Set

Produced starting in 1880 these Silicon China pieces feature a beautiful brown floral transferware design framed by a detailed geometric border on a cream porcelain body. This set includes two dinner plates measuring approximately 8 1/2 inches in diameter and one cereal or soup bowl measuring 5 7/8 inches across. Each piece bears the genuine brown crown and belt backstamp. These items show significant darkening and a deep network of crazing which is typical and desired for 19th century transferware of this age. The darker place has a circural line on the bottom.
