Description

An extraordinary find for collectors of Victorian transferware and early English porcelain history, this authentic 3-piece antique dish set brings timeless character to any china cabinet or curio collection. Produced starting in 1880 by Booths in England, these Silicon China pieces showcase the Hawthorn pattern with brown floral transferware branches framed by a delicate geometric border on a cream body. The set includes two dinner plates measuring 8-1/2 inches in diameter and one soup or cereal bowl measuring 5-7/8 inches across, each bearing the genuine brown crown and belt Booths backstamp on the reverse. Pre-owned antique item sold as-is with fully intact structure free of structural breaks, exhibiting age darkening on one plate, fine craze lines, and a circular line mark on the bottom of the darker plate that highlight its 140-year heritage.
