Description

This genuine antique Ridgway Oriental Blue covered vegetable dish is a rare find from late 1891 England. The piece features the classic Oriental Blue transferware pattern with elegant gold trim along its scalloped edges. It is a footed and handled design with every specific measurement included for collectors. The dish spans exactly 11 inches from handle to handle with an interior bowl width of 8-1/2 inches. The bowl alone stands 2-1/2 inches tall and reaches a full height of 5-1/2 inches when the matching lid is placed. The interior usable serving space measures 7-1/4 inches long by 6-1/4 inches wide. This set is in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks and the authentic Ridgway backstamp includes the England mark. Expected light wear to the gold trim is present which is characteristic of its Victorian history. pre-owned
