This collectible item of vintage electronics functions as a home movie projector for standard 8mm film reels. It was manufactured circa 1960 by the Richmond Research Corporation in Richmond Hill, New York. The unit features a heavy-duty metal body with an adjustable front leg and feet for stability. The detachable metal case shows minor wear while keeping its original aesthetic intact. Technical specs include a DFA 150-watt lamp (maximum 225 watts), 60 Cycle A.C. power, and UL listing. The lens is a Japanese-made 15–25 mm zoom with an F 1.5 rating. The light and motion buttons work, the zoom mechanics operate, and the lamp illuminates. The reverse function operates at a slower speed. This projector has not been tested with physical 8mm film due to lack of available media and is sold as-is.
