Edwardian European elegance defines this antique 1900s lidded sugar bowl and creamer set by Oscar & Edgar Gutherz (O & EG) of Royal Austria. Crafted in Altrohlau porcelain featuring an embossed beaded texture against a vibrant light green ground, adorned with lush hand-painted pink rose bouquets and white accent blossoms. The ornate handles and scalloped rims are richly embellished with heavy gold-gilt decoration. The sugar bowl stands 3-1/2 inches tall plus its lid, paired with a 3-1/4 inch tall creamer pitcher, bearing the authentic green factory backstamp on the underside. A magnificent display set for fine porcelain collectors and formal tea tables. Antique condition with some age-appropriate wear to the gold gilded areas, but structurally intact.
