Two Vintage Japan Bisque Porcelain Crown Mark Story Jars Large and Small

Detailed hand painted village scenes bring a touch of vintage charm to this graduated set of two pre owned footed Japanese bisque porcelain story jars. The large jar stands 4-3/4 inches tall on its own and reaches 6-1/4 inches tall with the lid included while the sides measure 4-1/4 inches by 3-1/2 inches. The smaller jar measures 3-3/4 inches tall on its own and stands 4-1/2 inches tall with the lid while the sides measure 3-3/4 inches by 3 inches. Both authentic pieces feature a soft matte finish and sit on decorative footed bases with the distinct five prong crown mark above the Made in Japan stamp. While one lid has a small chip on the underside rim as shown in the photos this set remains a beautiful example of mid century export porcelain.
