Vintage Japanese Shingata Kokeshi Bride Nodder Wood Toy

This handcrafted wooden figure is finished in a matte black tone and features hand-painted crane and floral details, which are traditional symbols of marital fidelity and longevity. The doll is adorned with an authentic white fabric Tsunokakushi bridal hood. A clever nodding mechanism is built into the design; the head is detachable, allowing for a gentle, purposeful bobble while remaining securely in place. This preowned vintage piece is clean and in solid condition.
