Inviting vintage ironstone bread and butter plate featuring the iconic Sugar Maples scene from The Friendly Village series. Crafted by Johnson Brothers in Staffordshire, England, between 1953 and 2003. This piece displays an exquisite scalloped and embossed rim framing a detailed winter landscape transferware design complete with a classic red sugarhouse and maple buckets. Measures 6-1/4" across. Pre-owned vintage item in wonderful condition, clean and intact with minor vintage signs only on the reverse.
