Exquisite European craftsmanship defines this vintage lidded sugar bowl by Phoenix China of Czechoslovakia, estimated from the 1930s. Crafted from fine white porcelain, the large bowl features hand-painted colorful exotic birds on branches, vibrant floral bouquets, and a densely patterned floral garland border accented with gleaming gold trim along the rim and matching lid. Equipped with two elegant upward-swept handles, the piece measures 7-1/8 inches long and approximately 5-3/4 inches tall to the top of the handles, bearing the authentic green Phoenix Czechoslovakia backstamp on the base. An excellent decorative collectible display piece and functional table serving accessory. Pre-owned vintage condition, structurally intact.
