Terrance Guardipee Original Blackfeet Warrior Mixed Media Ledger Drawing Signed 2001

This original mixed media ledger drawing is a masterwork of contemporary Native American tribal art by Terrance Guardipee, an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Nation whose work is featured in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution and the Gene Autry Museum. Created in 2001, this researchable collectible measures approximately 14 inches by 8-1/8 inches and remains sealed in its original display with a cardboard backing and clear protective plastic. The piece features a powerful depiction of a Blackfeet warrior mounted on a painted war horse, surrounded by figures on foot, all expertly executed on authentic vintage ledger paper to preserve the 19th-century Plains Indian tradition of recording tribal history.
