Description

Exquisitely handcrafted, this large-scale elephant sculpture brings a touch of mid-century safari charm to your interior design with its meticulously applied dark brown leather finish that captures the authentic texture and wrinkles of hide. The impressive 14-1/2 inch figure features a signature upraised trunk, which is widely considered an auspicious symbol of good fortune and prosperity, while the striking cream-colored plastic tusks and lifelike glass eyes provide a sophisticated focal point for a library bookshelf or living room mantel. Expertly constructed over a durable internal frame, this piece displays a rich, natural aged patina that tells the story of its history, complete with subtle scuffing on the trunk and feet that underscores its character. This is a pre-owned vintage item. This is a pre-owned vintage item that sells as is.
