Description

This pair of lifelike leather wrapped tigers brings a captivating primitive art aesthetic to any home interior. Handcrafted during the 1960s or 1970s, each figure is made using a paper mache form encased in genuine leather, detailed with hand painted stripes and realistic eyes that evoke an engaging, raw artisan energy. These are pre-owned vintage items that show expected character marks from age. The larger tiger is missing one tusk and the smaller tiger has a break in the tail. They remain striking, soul-filled display pieces that command attention on a shelf, desk, or mantle. Sells as is.
