Vintage Signed Sato Suigai Sosaku Kokeshi Doll Red Camellia

Japanese artistry shines through in this exceptional vintage 9.5 inch piece created by the award-winning master Sato Suigai. This Sosaku creative Kokeshi doll features a striking high-gloss lacquered head with a classic bob haircut and a solid wood body showcasing hand-carved red Camellia Tsubaki blossoms. The base is clearly marked with the original red artist stamp. This item is in pre-owned vintage condition clean and intact with gentle wear. There are two small bumps on the back of the lacquered head and a black marker mark on the bottom base near the artist stamp as seen in the pictures.
