Description

Marketed by Tiara Exclusives and produced by Indiana Glass in the 1970s, this figural clear glass storage dish is shaped as a trumpeting elephant with its trunk raised in a traditional symbol of good fortune. Molded from heavy pressed glass, the top half of the elephant's back serves as a lift-off lid to reveal a hollow interior cavity. Dimensions measure 7 inches long from trunk tip to tail, 4.5 inches high, and 3 inches across. A functional table accessory for serving small wrapped candies, mints, or nuts, as well as a charming dresser trinket box for rings and jewelry. Preowned vintage item.
