Description

This 1965 Westinghouse H968PLB travel clock radio is a prime example of Space Age design, created for the jet-set traveler who demanded compact, integrated electronics. The unit features a unique hybrid system where the AM radio is battery-powered, requiring one 9V battery (not included), while the analog clock utilizes a high-quality manual wind-up mechanical movement. It is housed in a durable, dark brown hard plastic clamshell case with a leather-like texture that opens to function as an integrated stand. Inside, it reveals a sophisticated brushed aluminum face, a classic analog sunburst clock dial, and a polished silver speaker grille. This is an authentic survivor of mid-century Japanese engineering in working condition, and this preowned vintage item sells as is.
