Description

Curated for advanced collectors of American ceramic history and English heritage transferware, this historic 2-piece heavy earthenware serving platter set offers exceptional decorative display potential for fine sideboards, cabinets, or architectural wall arrangements. The first selection is a vintage 1930s Crooksville octagonal serving platter originating from Ohio, measuring 12 inches long by 9-1/4 inches wide, characterized by an embossed fruit border and a rich butter-yellow glaze. The second selection is an antique circa 1900s Rowland and Marsellus Staffordshire green transferware oval serving platter imported from England, measuring 10 inches long by 7-1/8 inches wide, detailed with the historic Virginia visual pattern. Pre-owned antique and vintage collectible set offered strictly in stable decorative display condition, exhibiting authentic surface crazing and minor historic glaze wear consistent with age, collectibles sold as-is.
